Have you ever wondered why we get ill in the first place?

Some people think that it's genetic. Some think we're unlucky. Others think we're predestined. Or, maybe, we’ve not taken good care of ourselves, and disease is the price we have to pay. Maybe, it’s because we’ve been a bad person, and this is our penance.... There are probably as many beliefs as there are people.

Throughout my studies, I've noticed one common element.

The whole health issue is totally backwards! Instead of illness and disease being the cause of all our worries, illness and disease is the result of all our worries.

We all experiences situations in life. That's a given. These situations will create thoughts. So far, so good. Then, the thoughts create emotions. Hmmm. Unfortunately, if these are negative emotions, in time, our body will create illness, and dis-ease. Ouch!

When something happens in our life that we don't like, we are overcome by anger, confusion, depression, grief, rejection, jealousy, fear, worry, judgement ...and on and on. When we're in this state, we're actually creating mental negativity which often leads to physical or mental upset.

Picture your child coming home late one night, and he/she's wrecked your car. Oh Oh. After the reality sinks in, you become angry. That anger will probably create a headache, stomach ache, or some sleepless nights. When the situation is much more intense, your emotions will probably rise accordingly, and then your physical issues will also increase in severity.

It's pretty hard to escape the reality of the mind/body connection.

Of course, we don’t intentionally try to hurt ourselves. Nobody wants pain, and suffering. Most of the problems lie within the subconscious mind, so of course, we're not even aware of what we're doing to ourselves. But, aware or not, the body has no choice but to continue on a self destructive path, as that's what has been mentally 'ordered'.

So, now what?

Our body will work in accordance with the laws of physiology. We don't think about how to digest our food, or how to breath in and out. We also don't think about those nasty emotions wrecking havoc on our physical self. Oh, what to do....

One answer would be to never worry or get upset over anything that could happen to you. Becoming more peaceful is attainable, however for many of us, never getting upset ever again may be a bit unrealistic. This mind/body concept also impacts the physical issues that you're already carrying around, as well as how you may deal with your future thoughts and emotions.

I've gone to many clinics, seminars, and workshops in Europe, Canada, and the United States. As it turns out, there are many things you can do to help yourself in regards to your health problems. For the most part, my findings are offered to you through these pages. I sincerely hope you find what you're looking for.
